As a design studio, we like to do our part in the community by participating in social causes that we are passionate about. One way we are doing this is through our BLM Design Grant, where we offer our services for free to one black-owned business in Toronto. Although a small step, we hope that this will contribute positively to this very important conversation about racial injustice and help black-owned businesses gain the recognition they deserve.

Based on Black Businesses by Year in Operation (BBPCAB) survey, a considerable number of black-owned businesses in Toronto struggle to operate past the 5-year mark.

With our BLM Design Grant,  we are hoping to  contribute to the existing efforts in lowering this percentage by doing what we do best: helping small businesses succeed through great design. It has been proven that strong design is directly linked to the financial performance of a company and helps businesses outperform industry benchmark growth by as much as 2:1 and we are here to help you get there!
